Makais is a roguish fop of a god who holds sway over wealth, good fortune and luck. He is the patron of those who would call themselves adventurers, encouraging their daring antics as they bring him great amusement. Makais espouses and teaches his followers only one piece of dogma and that is, "have fun, make your fortune, thrill the maidens and defeat the villain; just don't be too much of a dick about it". Makais takes the form of a scruffy ruffian you'd expect to see in any gambling den but his race always matches the person he is being seen by. His holy symbol is a pair of dice made of solid gold, with seven always being displayed as the result of the roll. Clerics who worship him have access to the Good, Charm, Freedom, Luck, and Trickery domains.
