[ Eltar, The Uncaring Enigma ]

Eltar is the deity who holds dominion over the sway of Arcane Magic and the concept of Knowledge. He espouses no specific dogma and seems to care very little for his followers and worshipers. He only even grants them power because he respects the initiative to seek knowledge and might that they normally lack. Eltar takes no specific form, wearing what ever shape that he feels appropriate or happens to choose at the time in question. Eltar's holy symbol is an open book with arcane writings scrawled across the pages. Clerics who worship him have access to the Knowledge, Magic, Protection, Rune, and Travel domains.
