Naesus is the god who presides over the concept of civilization, nurturing as well the processes of artifice and invention. He espouses that progress is most important above all other things and that a true utopian existence can only be forged from the fires of intelligence and invention. He teaches his followers to hone their intellects and to always strive to create devices, ideologies and new concepts that ultimately improve their own lives and the lives of their fellows. Naesus takes the form of a massive humanoid construct that is constantly shifting, breaking down and being rebuilt. His holy symbol are three cogs interlocked with one another. Clerics who worship him gain access to the Artifice, Community, Exploration, Knowledge, and Rune domains.
