Myxolusians

Simple, hardworking, honest and humble, Mxyolusians have long dulled and honed the never ending hunger that drove their Ooze brethren with the spark of sapience and the flame of civilization.

Physical Description

Myxolusians are short, very broad and very thick but are not what would be called fat on another creature. Their arms and legs end in thick appendages that approximate hands and feet, three fingers and two toes on each. Myxolusians lack any apparent structure that would be considered eyes or ears, their whole body serving as a sensory organ. Their bodies come in a variety of colors, though teals, purples, grays and blacks are most common. Myxolusians are mono-gendered and reproduce asexually and very rarely take any form of gender persona.

Preferring to not stand out or make a fuss, Myxolusians tend to be Colorless, living day in and day out with a kind of humble apathy for things.

Adventurers

Those Myxolusians who become adventurers are odd ducks indeed, preferring dynamic and exciting life styles to the normal, content humdrum existences of their non-adventuring kin.

Racial Statistics

-2 Dexterity, +4 Constitution, -2 Intelligence: Myxolusians are clumsy and slow of thought but are incredibly resilient.
Medium: Myxolusians are Medium creatures and have no bonuses or penalties due to their size.
Monstrous Humanoid: Myxolusians are Monstrous Humanoids and as such are immune to spells and effects that target Humanoids.
Slow: Myxolusians have a base land speed of 20 feet.
Blind: Myxolusians see and sense exclusively through their blindsense, which is based on sound and vibrations through the air and ground. Beyond 60 feet a Myxolusian is considered completely blind. A Myxolusian is immune to all sight-based attacks and effects, including gaze attacks.
Blindsense: Myxolusians have the Blindsense extraordinary special quality out to 60 feet.
Jelly Flesh: Myxolusians have Damage Reduction 2/Slashing or Piercing and receive a +1 racial bonus on Fortitude saves.
Malleability: Myxolusians can stretch their limbs and body, giving them reach of 10 feet instead of 5. Also, as a full-round action can squeeze through any opening that is at least 3 inches wide.
Simple Mind: Myxolusians receive a +2 racial bonus on Will saves.
Slam: Myxolusians possess a Slam attack that deals damage for a creature of their size category.
Slippery: Myxolusians receive a +3 racial bonus on Escape Artist skill checks. This bonus increases to +5 when the Myxolusian has 10 Hit Dice and to +7 when the Myxolusian has 20 or more Hit Dice.
Unerring Stance: Myxolusians receive a +8 racial bonus to their Combat Maneuver Defense when resisting a bull rush or trip attempt while standing on the ground.
